While Tesla and SpaceX boss Elon Musk recently shared doom-and-gloom views of the future, that intelligent machines will overtake mankind and people will be relegated to house cats, not everyone in the tech world shares such fears. That includes Gao Lufeng, the CEO Of Ninebot, a leading short-distance transportation devices and robots maker in China. “Even though the development of this technology has in recent years, robots are still very primitive and this would be the right time for safety measures for robots to be developed,” he said during an interview at RISE conference in Hong Kong this week.
