This is now a fact. More and more Israeli startups have made NYC their home in recent years. The site Israeli Mapped in NY lists 254 Israeli startups on its platform, with over 10 being added every month on average according to Guy Franklin who is behind the initiative. As someone who’s witnessed the growth of NY tech in recent years, this comes with no surprise. New York City offers unique benefits to Israeli entrepreneurs – the proximity to potential clients and partners from a variety of industries such as ad tech, e-commerce , a much friendlier time zone than Silicon Valley (7 hour difference rather than 10), and a very engaged and supportive Israeli tech community – all this and more make it extremely attractive for Israeli entrepreneurs to set their global offices in NYC.
