A private NYC Casting Call event for ABC’s Shark Tank is taking place on April 20, 2016.

The event is spearheaded by Values Partnerships, NYIT’s Center for Entrepreneurial Studies, Minority Venture Partners, Inc., and Vanguarde Consulting Group. Values Partnerships is led by Joshua DuBois, former head of the Office of Faith Based and Neighborhood Partnerships in the Executive Office of the President of the United States.

With the support of Shark Tank‘s executive producer Mark Burnett, Values Partnerships has been leading a nationwide casting tour supporting minority entrepreneurship and recruiting diverse voices to pitch on the show for more than three years.

In addition to giving black entrepreneurs the opportunity to be on the show, Values Partnerships provides pitch prep, entrepreneurship resources, and access to capital discussions to add value for every entrepreneur.
